Red with vibrant purple hues, this Shiraz exhibits powerful yet complex aromas of black cherries with hints of spice complemented by delicate toasty oak characters. The palate is full flavoured with an abundance of black plum, dark cherry and subtle vanillin oak.

"Here, we are alost seeing a 'flagship' release of Barossa Valley limited for $25! Sourced from the sub area of Ebenezer. Rich coffee (smells like a double shot latte), vanilla drenched plum, cheery, wooden cigarello tip, some waxy lipstick and light charry oak. Full bodied and showing good fruit. Well wrought with even tannins that calm and dry the well judged dark fruit. A lift of bright acidity for freshness. Overall, package is balanced with value for money." 92/100 Vinonotebook August 2020
"I am often asked to recommend quality wines which don’t break the bank. The wines from Berton Vineyards are great bang for buck deals. Heres another sourced from the Ebenezer - a Barossa sub region north of the district. The asking price of $25 is more than reasonable for what you get. Curiosly, it is marketed as a limited release, but with 7000 bottles coming off the bottling line, its more than i would expect for a wine to be labelled as such. But i digres.... Generous and dense purple and black fruit in the mouth. Toasty oak, hints of cocnut husk, licks of vanilla and dark chocolate plus a scattering of baking spices add further appeal. Finishing long with dusty and drying tannins, this is top value drinking." 91/100 Q wine, August 2020.
