Winemaking

Our 2024 Metal Pinot Grigio heralds from the inland grape growing areas of the Riverina and Murray Darling. After meticulous attention in the vineyard, fruit flavours were at an optimum and physiological ripeness was achieved, the parcels were harvested in the cool of the night during the months of January and February and delivered to the winery for processing. Fermentation was undertaken in stainless steel vats, using several yeast strains selected to elevate aromatics and promote mouthfeel. Upon completion, the parcels spent a short time on sur lie before blending, clarification, stabilisation and bottling.

Stuart Know - The Real Review

88 Points

"Pale lemon hue. Pear skin and fresh cut lemon aromatics. Bright and fresh with pear fruit and a pleasing citrus lift. Decent length and stays clean to the finish. Simple easy drinking."

Sam Kim - Wine Orbit

86 Points

"Light and fruity, showing nectarine, green pear and Gala apple notes on the nose, followed by a crisp-dry palate that's lively and mouth-watering. Sleek and fresh with youthful flavours. At its best: now to 2025. "

“So light in colour you might mistake what is in your glass for water. Very young but very crisp. So refreshing with the citrus notes. Perfect for the beach on a warm day with some seafood.”
