2018 was a great vintage, Australia wide. Warm days and drought conditions meant dry, disease free ripening, and little water means intense, concentrated fruit. The idea of the limited small parcel black shiraz was born to create a blend of our favourite premium Shiraz from around Australia. The selected parcels for our first release are from Mount Lofty - South Australia, Gundagai – New South Wales and Heathcote in Victoria. These parcels were fermented in stainless steel and stored in new French and American oak for approximately 14 months, the best barrels were then selected and blended for the final result.
