Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The Black Shiraz is a bold example of Australian Shiraz with deep colour and aromas of blackberry and plum over toasty vanillin and spicy oak. The palate is full flavoured and intense with rich plum, blueberry and mocha notes. The tannins are ripe and dense giving great structure and length to the palate.
Ratings
2019: "Goodness there us a lot here for the price. Chalk and rose petal, blue metal, vanilla, light marshmellow, blueberry, blue plum, cola essence (touch of ginger) and some crunchy thin chocolate. Varietal and dark with reams of mocha and a light sandpaper tannin that clings to the teeth, just to keep it interesting. The finish is a touch short but it stays balanced all the way. Great value." Mesmerising flavours linger long in the mouth. Full-bodied yet dazzling light on its feet. Fruit, tannins and oak all on the same page. Give it a try.
