This parcel of Durif has been chosen from a single vineyard in the Riverina, New South Wales where it thrives in the warm, rich soils. One of the last parcels to be harvested in 2017, the rich ripe fruit concentrates the varietal flavours of violets and blackberries and enhances aromas of anise and cinnamon.

Intense aromas of violets, blackberry and subtle chocolate herald this mouth staining Durif's inky dark fruit characters of blackberry, anise and smoky liquorice that fill the concentrated palate. The well integrated oak and tight tannins add complexity and depth that persists to a long flavoursome finish.
