The Berton Vineyards Reserve range brings together wines from regions that due to their distinct climate and soil have excelled at producing particular varieties.
Warm days moderated by off-shore breezes, rich red loam over well draining limestone are the foundation for the Coonawarra’s justified reputation for producing our best Cabernet. The Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon has an impenetrable black colour; it is very fragrant with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, fresh tobacco and sweet pepper. The palate is intense and concentrated with a fine structure showing abundant blackberry, cassis, minerals and light toasty oak notes that combine to give a long persistent finish.
