A lifetime of dedication to our passion for winemaking and viticulture and it finally dawned on us that we really love what we make.
We are Head over Heels over this cool climate Merlot from Victoria. Deep and vibrant in colour, this wine has very expressive aromas of plum pudding with underlying notes of coffee and rose petal. There are an abundance of generous ripe fruit flavours that are beautifully balanced by a velvety structure that has a long and lingering finish.

VINTAGE Cool, wet conditions in September delayed the start of the growing season with budburst occurring during the first week of October. Below average temperatures that followed resulted in very slow shoot growth. Late November rainfall coupled with warmer temperatures saw rapid shoot growth. Flowering started in the first two weeks of December and the warm, dry conditions meant a short flowering period with excellent fruit set. January saw unusually low temperatures with well below average rainfall. The vines progressed at a comfortable rate as growers engaged in crop thinning due to above average bunch weights and berry numbers. Harvest commenced late February. Moderate day temperatures and cool nights during March and April enhanced colour development. Minimal rainfall along with the driest January to April periods on record for the region. Warm, dry conditions saw all varieties reaching baume targets.
